Professional stadiums are among the most complex buildings to design. They must move tens of thousands of people safely and efficiently, provide quality sightlines from every seat, support broadcast operations, accommodate premium hospitality experiences, and create an atmosphere that energizes fans and players alike. The New Nissan Stadium required coordination across dozens of disciplines—architecture, structural engineering, MEP systems, acoustics, food service, security, and more—all working toward a unified vision. CSBD joined this effort as a certified SBE partner, contributing architecture services alongside the prime design team. Our role demanded the same precision and commitment to quality as any firm on the project, regardless of size. We brought our experience in large-scale public assembly and our understanding of phased construction to support the broader team's efforts.
[Specific scope of CSBD's work to be provided by client. This section should describe the particular areas, systems, or phases CSBD was responsible for—such as specific concourse areas, back-of-house facilities, or coordination tasks. Include details about deliverables, collaboration with the prime architect, and any technical challenges addressed.]
Stadium projects operate on fixed deadlines—opening day doesn't move. That reality drives every decision, every coordination meeting, every document submission. Our team understood the pace required and delivered accordingly. We maintained the documentation standards expected on a project of this scale, responded quickly to design changes, and stayed aligned with the broader team's milestones. For CSBD, this project demonstrated that a certified SBE firm can contribute meaningfully to the most visible, most demanding projects in the region. We weren't a checkbox on a compliance form—we were part of the team that delivered a stadium Nashville will be proud of for generations.
The New Nissan Stadium will anchor Nashville's East Bank development and serve as a gathering place for the community. Beyond Titans games, the facility will host concerts, international sporting events, and civic gatherings that bring people together. Being part of a project with this kind of lasting impact is exactly why we started CSBD—to contribute to work that matters, to prove that minority-owned firms belong on the biggest stages, and to help build spaces that serve communities for decades.
