Project Overview

Building capacity for a record-growth airport.

A $250 million expansion of Concourse D at Nashville International Airport — part of the airport’s New Horizon Program — adding 190,000 SF of new concourse to keep pace with record traffic while keeping the airport fully operational.

In partnership with Fentress Architects, CSBD is providing architectural and construction administration services, carrying the design through to LEED v4 BD+C certification. Every phase is sequenced around live flights so the concourse advances without interrupting operations.

Scope of Work

Five new gates — added airside capacity with new passenger hold rooms.

Concessions & art spaces — new dining, retail, restrooms, and public art throughout the extension.

High-end finishes — detailing that integrates seamlessly with the existing concourse.

Architecture & construction administration — design carried to LEED v4 BD+C, with the airport fully operational.
